“Nurses in Independent Practice: A Paradigm Shift”
2nd Virtual Conference
Saturday, February 8, 2025 // 09:00 to 16:00 EST
Death Maven
Canadian Death Care Navigation and Fierce Advocacy for Informed Choice. Combining the holistic nursing process with creative, eclectic "Death Care" conversations, you will be inspired to think "outside of the casket". I normalize the discussion around death and dying with education and consulting brought to you from five decades in "hands on" nursing. Nurses provide holistic, compassionate, personalised care for the most vulnerable. If you're ready to explore a real change in how we approach death care in Canada, book me for your next event. Together, we can reshape the way we die.

Death Maven Order Form
“Death Maven: having everyday conversations about death and dying” is a book about cultural, spiritual and practical variations on the theme of death, explored outside of the western Judeo-Christian ethic, allowing for permission to look at and be curious about how people individualize the process of dying.
"I'm Dead, Now What? End of Life Planner and Journal
This planner and journal is a "tongue-in-cheek" starting point for writing down everything from your passwords and how your pets should be cared for to letters of apology and individualizing your funeral plans. I love the title as it brings the death event into the present, instead of sometime in the future. This is NOT a legal document but rather an assembling of your thoughts that you can take with you to your lawyer for personal directive and will conversations. The full unedited journal can be purchased online.
