Catherine Harley is the Chief Executive Officer of Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Canada , is the Treasurer on the CASE RNs. Board and the co-chair for Wounds Canada National Wound Strategy Committee. She has been in several leadership Board positions including serving as the Executive Director of the Operating Room Nurses Association of Canada (ORNAC) for five years and completed two terms on the National Advisory Committee for the Canadian Nurses Association’s (C.N.A.) Canadian Network of Nursing Specialties . She was an advisor for the launch of the Canadian Symposium on Wound Management and the start up of the Canadian Association of Wound Care (CAWC) – now Wounds Canada. Past career experience also includes serving as the Director of Global Strategic Marketing, Wound Care Business for ConvaTec division of Bristol-Myers Squibb in Skillman, New Jersey, U.S.A. and as the Business Unit Manager for the Wound and Skin Care Division of ConvaTec Canada. A Registered Nurse with a neurosurgical ICU clinical background, she completed the International Interdisciplinary Wound Care Course at the University of Toronto (IIWCC), studied post graduate business in the United States (Executive MBA) and also completed a post graduate certificate in Not for Profit Board Governance with the Institute of Corporate Directors, Rotman School of Management ,University of Toronto and Telfer School of Business, University of Ottawa.
