Heather Jones is a nurse in independent practice, founder of Insider Birth Consulting, and strong advocate for birthing families. Her experience providing intrapartum care, lactation consulting, and advocacy services both publicly and privately has shaped her career in nursing and community engagement. Heather offers families the options and support they are seeking to maintain their autonomy and dignity in a struggling healthcare system. Empowering families to reach their optimal state of physical and mental health in pregnancy, labour, birth, and postpartum is a science and a passion that nurses are uniquely situated to facilitate.
