Incorporating a Health Care Business: Advantages and Limitations
Rene brings over 16 years of specialized tax experience to FBC, Canada’s Farm and Small Business Consultants, where he has achieved the highest level of certification as a Level 7 Tax Consultant. This designation provides specialized training in complex corporate restructuring, estate freezes, and rollovers, and provides him with the experience to help small business owners decide on their own journey to incorporate.
Throughout his career, he has assisted more than 75 businesses with their decision to incorporate, combining technical expertise with a commitment to reducing his clients' stress throughout the process. Having served in multiple FBC branches across Ontario, including London, Barrie, and Smiths Falls, Rene has developed a deep understanding of the diverse needs of business owners throughout the province.
In his current role as Senior Account Manager, Rene is passionate about connecting more Canadian small business owners and sole proprietors with the resources and strategies they need to flourish. He leverages his advanced tax planning expertise to help entrepreneurs identify opportunities for growth while building sustainable, prosperous futures for their businesses.
Before finding his passion for supporting small business owners with FBC, Rene worked as a professional chef, traveling the world, and gaining valuable insights into the hospitality industry through his culinary management education. This unique background has enhanced his ability to relate to professionals who, like self-employed nurses, build careers around mobility and adaptability. Fully bilingual in English and French, Rene brings both advanced tax expertise and a worldly perspective to helping healthcare professionals navigate the financial advantages of incorporation while minimizing the administrative burden on their busy lives.
